I have the hd and I like it a lot. excellent battery life. I rooted and put Google play. without that I would dislike it a lot but now even unrooted devices are getting play.

Now if only the kindle fire would get Google Play then we'd get some Prime movies. B&N is getting pretty desperate, maybe this Play is a last ditch attempt to make them relevant.

Note that the Nook HD+ is indicated as a "Special Buy" on their website. As such if you were to buy it now and try to price adjust it during the sale it won't work.
