I agree that a broker is your best bet. In my experience they've been able to find far lower rates than I could on my own. With that said compare their prices with 2-3 quotes you gather on your own....

You're not required to close the refi with anybody until 3 days after you've signed the closing paperwork.
To simplify things, only shop for loans with zero origination points and zero discount...
