The layout is not the same. For example, on this UK layout keyboard, shift-3 will give you a British pound symbol instead of a "#". You can see it in the pictures as well. Minor inconvenience.

i have a similar uk layout one, and for some reason, some of the keys won't change from whats labeled, even if the software layout is changed to US. I just downloaded an app that changes those keys...

Normally it means the keyboard layout is slightly different from us version keyboards, but according to the pictures on newegg the layout is the same. My guess is no US warranty
