I take it that this is a first time u did a rebate. I think most rebates take at least a month. You shouldn't worry until the 10 week mark.

I have a 3GB 7950 and Battlefield 3 at 1080p uses 1.4GB of VRAM at 1080p. I'm not entirely sure you would be able to max (including AA) the latest and future games with this.
