I would say ECC is the most compelling feature of this unit, see the Google study on how flakey memory is. Don't you want some integrity with the data you store? :) There's nothing at this price...

I think these are going cheap because the G8 version of this microserver is coming out next month. It will switch to an Intel based platform with Celeron and Pentium options

No slickdealer would buy this at regular price. The hot deal is to pickup the N54L when it's around $230-$250, which happens every month or so. That motherboard doesn't support ECC either

LFF (Large Form Factor) is HP jargon for 3.5" drives, 2.5" drives being "SFF". I would expect the processor in this unit to be a little more responsive than the E350 APU if graphics are not...
