Dresses are 30% off in store and the one I want is about $40 so $28 after discount. I looked everywhere and couldn't find something cheap to add for about $2 so I could use the coupon.. any ideas?

I am not hating on Express, I actually like their clothes, but their prices and sales, not so much. I visit Express quiet regularly and see the prices on stuff I like and then when they mark "SALE"...

in my experience with Express, I've almost never seen this to be the case. maybe on the very rare occasion something is being clearance'd in a particular area, then yeah, otherwise no.

Agreed 100%. They are notorious for this practice.
Besides, they have in store "sales" all the time, where the prices become exactly the same as with coupons anyway, but without coupons.
