I feel the same way. The majority of my friends are xbox players. I've put maybe 20 hours into the PS3 since I got it in April of last year.

Well if your friends are dead set on the X1 you are better off getting that. I was just trying to compare the consoles' prices vs what you can do with it out of the box.

I'm not saying you're wrong. But the extra 100 bucks, will go a long way toward playing with my friends. I'd rather pay an extra 100 dollars than have a system that I can't play with anyone.
