The harddrive bays are removable(3 screws) but would require the removal of the case shell (4 screws). No external bay options.

I assume you have to mount all HD's from inside this thing, no front mounts judging from the pictures? I don't need hot swap bays, but seriously you need to be able to pull these out from the front...

Just built one last week with an h90. The rear fan is 140mm with mounting holes for 120mm. The rest of the system is a 7950, 2600k configuration. I haven't done in depth testing on the temps but...

I was comparing the same cases and went with the node 304. It's layout is better and can fit larger cpu coolers. It does fit a full sized atx power supply.

Depends on the build, but I would not put more than 1 HDD into an HTPC, especially if you go out of your way to make it silent HTPC. i like nMedia PC 1080p cases, since they take MicroATX....
