There are some specific uses for a monitor like this, but I think most people would be better off with dual monitors instead. Most photo people actually prefer 16:10, and programmers value vertical...

OP, it's not really $320 after coupon. You're paying $400 with $80 back in urlhasbeenblocked rewards. Unless I missed where I can cash it out in check or VISA/AMEX/Mastercard gift cards? Interesting though...

I'm a photographer/editor and I prefer 2560x1440/1600, since, you know, I can see more things on the screen. Vertical real-estate is the real issue, and and 1080 lines often doesn't cut it. Removing...

Last time I checked, you can take a 2560x1440 display and use it vertically. OH YOU CAN STILL DO STUFF SIDE BY SIDE WHILE YOU'RE VERTICAL LOL. Still doesn't make the vertical resolution any less...

Graphic Design people need a monitor like this for toolbars/control panels. Video editors also need a ton of timelines. Also computer programmers use this vertically for coding long documents. ...

I saw this thing in person (well, the Dell version) and was quite impressed. To me I was planning on using it for productivity with dual-screen stuff all the time. Most people say just get 2...

Agreed. This is not the first time a monitor like this has shown up, and every time the thread is filled with comments without regard to the actual purpose of a monitor like this. I've never watched...

Lol at people not understanding widescreen. The point of this monitor is for seeing cinemascope in native aspect ratio and games with a wider usable fov without surround bezels. I have owned plenty...

O yea. Just like the ladies. Thanks. I guess I will wait. Been waiting for year tho due to price and other people's recommendations. Do you need to have a special video card to make it work?
