Two years ago, I walked into a store that tried to sell me one for $120. When I checked Newegg for the exact same model (Kingston drive, can't remember the model now) it was $200.

Wouldn't these things be pretty good for doing laptop backups? Especially if the drive was 128gb or less.
That said - I wish they would make more laptops with 2 drive bays. I like my DV9000 HP...

Albeit, 2 reviewers say it's pretty fast. One uses it for movies. If it can keep up that speed, good enough for me. :)

You guys do realize that external HDD with TB of space ran through USB 2.0 for years, right?
