I tried both files.....the acclaim-restorefw_sd_hd_zip file was the one that I got the error message on. It would start to install and then it was "Installation Aborted" message.

Are you able to boot it up to clockworkmod screen? It is not a touchscreen menu and do a factory reset and reinstall again. IMO, this is cleaner step to erase and reinstall instead of troubleshooting...
