wondering if this is a good choice for my $80 refurb SUBSONIX 5.0 Pinnacle Speakers. It appears to be missing lfe so it won't work for 5.1?

That sounds like a good way of looking at the deal. I doubt it will out-perform a lot of more expensive subs, but if the amp really does put out anywhere near 400w RMS and the box is of quality...

NewEgg has the Theater Solutions Sub15F on sale for $139 with Free Shipping. On sale till 8/2. Looks like a fairly decent entry level sub. About $50-60 cheaper than the BIC F-12 and Polk PSW-505...
