Seems like a good (not great) deal on a ceramic heater. The oscillation seems neat - never had an oscillating one before. @PP: That was my thought as well... :-/

how does it keep it from getting hot? the power draw is the same! one could argue that the power strip actually adds resistance in the overall picture making things worse, not better.
a power strip keeps the outlet from getting hot. you might want to take your medications!

why not read what you've been saying. you said that by plugging these into your wall outlet the outlet gets too hot and can cause a fire from the large amount of current that the heater draws. then...

so the power strip magically lowers the power of the unit? and your circuit breaker box doesn't have a breaker in it? seems like your not too bright.
when we use tere we plug them into a heavy duty power strip so that the outlet doesnt over heat and start a fire. also, the power strip provides a circuit breaker.
