Yeah... had no choice. THe builder wouldn't agree.. he will install the carpet and get certificate of occupancy and then the hardwood guy will go in and take out the carpet and put hardwood floors...

With grey you won't see the dirt as much as with the lighter colors. Maybe look at some pics of houses online with the different color motors before you make a decision.

Also, if you do get hard wood floors, try to get wood that is FSC certified. Much better for the environment.
