Hmm, I'm on Xperion too without any of these issues. What is your overclock set to? Do you have the Facebook app? It kills any phone I've ever put it on unless you disable all its auto updates.

You can set Link2SD to automatically move apps to the externalSD. I'm not sure how to change the default download folder, but it should be an easy fix after a Google search ;)

Thanks and repped. How do you make sure your downloads goto the SD card and new installs goto the SD card. With the storage swap you ensure that will always goto the storage. Thoughts?
