the Comcast modem router has no distance so buy your own,comcast also uses its router to offer wifi to other people,which will use some of your bandwith even if they say it does not

when i had comcast i used my own.. i got one off of craigslist for around $30. ended up saving $84 + taxes per year i was with them over well over 2 years
