There are no tax for Internet since it is a data service. If Comcast charges a tax which they may do since they are grossly incompetent, call them and have it remove.

I called today for the 50 Mbps but was told it is now $34.99. However, 105 Mbps is just $5 more so I signed up for that. $39.99 a month is a great price for this speed. Hope this helps!

Was able to get this deal in Atlanta. If you cannot get the deal after trying couple of times as a new customer, you can cancel disconnection of the ole account anytime as the disconnection schedule...
