It seems OK on IE6 (MyIE2) for me today (Usually the speed is OK here.... Sometimes it bogs down a little but usually its OK speed)

Been blessed, no congestion on my end recently. Maybe is traffic shaping by your ISP? Maybe post some tracerroute info showing where its occurring?

It's been pretty bad the last couple days for me. Oftentimes, Chrome shows that it's connected and "Waiting for slickdeals.net..." or sometimes it gets stuck on one of the many different elements...
