If you're eating red meat 1x a yr I'd suggest a nice lean steak. Get it rare so that when you poke it with your fork it moos at you.

Everything is bad for us. But small amounts will help build some immunity maybe. Have you tried the meat alternative Beyond Beef? The chicken version ain't great but the beef crumbles is the bomb....

Well, there was a sign at the start of the chow line that said the patties were x% soy, so I expect that they figured if you were knew you were allergic and ate it anyway, it was your own stupid...

I don't eat lobster and shrimp because it has a "face." Most meat is just not appetizing to me - biting down on gristle in a sausage literally makes me quite nauseous. The gamey taste? Not a fan....

I'm surprised by that, a lot of people have soy allergies.
I'm allergic to soy, as are a lot of people. You might want to warn your friends before serving something with soy in it, just in case...

also found some chorizo makers also make a soyrizo (which is really good).

Much of the taste in meat comes from fat. Since this is basically fat free...... People say it tastes like really really lean meat. It shouldn't be hard to grow fat with it.
