Seems like RZ900 has really good audio quality. But there were some new discussion regarding its capability with an external amp. It seem more likely now that RZ900 actually can not do true 7.1.2...

Keeping. the amp and power is better. The Amazon reviews show how much the thing is loved. despite no Audyssey(but have AccuEQ) and just one pair of height channels. it's heavier than that Denon....

Also a bit concerned about the 7.1.2 for onkyo I know some have successfully did it, and onkyo support has mentioned it in support forum, but not really mentioned clearly in offical document...

I just bought the Denon AVR-X4200W That HokiePokie757 is referring to for $899 shipped. It's a fantastic receiver and can actually do 9.2 (5.2.4) if you have a 2 channel amp.
