ortho can be used inside it just needs to sit like an hour or two before going back into the room. Once it's dry it's not that harmful!

I just buy Bifen (the active ingredient) on Amazon and mix my own in one of those Chapin sprayers. I can make a more diluted mix for indoors and a more concentrated mixture for the exterior. Works...

It won't kill large roaches instantly (trust me, I learned that the hard way). However, if you spray it on the outside border of your house concrete and garage, it does a great job keeping more bugs...
