Sorry I just saw your reply as I must have been signed out of my account automatically. I like these better than the Cree bulbs because of the room is much brighter with these and it just wasn't...

I would like to know how these bulbs compare to the ones sold at Costco? I know there is a temp diff but they have a very high CRI.

5000K is very hard on the eyes. I hate 5000 k bulbs. I would go for around 3000K

4000K is close.. Try these, I think 4000K is also quite the sweet spot. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T5HOO42/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There is nothing wrong with 5000K, There is nothing inherently better with 3000K. 3000K gives a light more yellow and similar to the old fashion incandescent bulbs. That sometimes makes people more...

I too would be interested in a reasonably priced, dimmable, recessed, 3500k, led retrofit

I agree about the 3500K, but they are hard to find. Would you please post a link to the Home Depot LED?
If your ceiling is 20' high, you don't need a 20' tall ladder - you just need one that will allow you to reach 20' while standing on it. For example - my reach is 8', so I'd need to be standing on a...
Do you mean Z-Wave?
These SGL lights are rated at 1,110 lumens, so your estimation of "at least 50% brighter" is pretty close, they should be 83% brighter according to the numbers. I have the CREE 2700k 65W...

This is the case as long as the housing has the brackets where the spring arms should go. In my case, all the plates were held up by springs - no bracket for the spring arms to land. If this is the...

I just completed building a solar powered house. All lights are LED and 5000K. Some are recessed, some are shop lights, some A19. I much prefer the 5000K over 3000. 3000 is just too yellow for me.

Is the deal only for the 5000K bulbs? I added the 3000K and got the message below... The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase. EDIT: They price matched the 3000K...

Does anyone have this setup with the wave system ?

I don't think there is a ladder that reach 20 foot high stands by itself. It's in the middle of the house.
