It's funny because they aren't taking into account that total latency in gaming is affected by a combination of g2g refresh rate and input latency. When both are combined on this panel it falls well...

Thread started so well with generally thumb ups. But as usual, the TN 1ms lovers showed up. It's like Walmart/SAMs people telling you how to game.

In for 1, was really considering getting the dell for 470 and just go with TN, but then also considering waiting for a 500 refurbished, but just decided to pull the trigger, hopefully not regret it...

A single 1080 should definitely be fine for 4k@60hz and any small dips shouldnt be noticeable with G-sync. Also, DP 1.3 supports HDCP 2.2.

I do understand 1.3 does 60hz, however afaik, it doesn't do HDCP 2.2 which is required for UHD playback. I'd get a one GTX 1080 and some point in future might pick up another one. In most reviews one...

DP 1.3 will do 4k@60hz. Whether you get this monitor or 4k is based completely off what your needs are. I have a 4k and this monitor. I personally think 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming right now...

4ms is a fantastic response time for this display. It's an IPS display not TN. Good luck finding a 1ms IPS display.
