Same here. My store had about 8 in varying colors, even matched the sku and they all ring up $26 even though brickseek says 7 dollar price in this store.

The Brita filters actually ADD more total dissolved solids into the water including copper and aluminum. You are correct in that ZeroWater is the only actual water filter, the rest of the big names...

used one a couple of years ago and would say the reviews are justifiable. the cover is can easily be removed and the water flow is a little bit weird to say the least.
