I have been paying $41.99 total for 50/50 for 3 years now. I call every few months to upgrade to 100/100 for $10 and they say its not even an option, they claim I can only get 75/75 and its not free.

I had bought the Actiontec router Rev 1 from Cl so it had my router. I believe even disconnecting the service for just a couple of days should do to get on a new contract on your spouse's name.
