They can, and the policy is to give it on a money card. The register absolutely WILL let them do it. They put in what you paid first in cash/credit, whatever, then the remaining amount on the MC.

These changes are a real pain and a deal buster, too.

I've been told that refunds for items purchased with ECBs must be given as store credit on a CVS gift card. I'm totally ok with that since it's like getting the ECBs back but without exp date.

I love debates like this :lol: Ecb's are not the same as cash. I can use my cash to buy a CVS GC at a 20% discount this weekend. Ecb's are face value if CVS has something I want. Ecb's expire quickly...
