Wow. Looks like it's $130 everywhere now. Deals were hovering between $95 and $110 for weeks and it was still 105 at Amazon when I posted that response. Glad I got mine when I did.

Right now you could get the faster wrt1900ac router for less than $100 from dell. It comes bundled with a 3tb external hd for $199 total and $50 gift card. Much better deal. IMHO

try the netgear X4s - I always used linksys and tomato and ddwrt. The netgeat is much better.

Possibly, if channel congestion is the cause of low(er) throughput over WiFi. If you get a dual-band, you can run the desktop on the current 2.4 channels, until you find a deal on a card.
