I read a review on these speakers, CR4 version goes down to 70 hz. I wish there was a easy way to combine these with a decent subwoofer.

not really cash doesn't expire. newegg is prone to expiring their GC's. However id be glad as heck to get exactly $50 back in cash vs a GC i wont use or give to craps about.

I don't own these but if you look on AV forums Mackie is quite respectable. Studio monitors are designed for near field listening so these should be used as such.
