Thanks OP!. Used bofa shopsafe to generate a random credit card number, ordered sim for 0.99$ and downgraded all the services, was charged 0.99$ so far. Will see how it works.

Check under your plans & look for any links in tiny text. find something that says details or manage or some such until you find a way to disable it. It is probably intentionally made hard to find.

My order has been stuck in "processing" too. Not a good start by FreedomPop. I'd normally say you get what you pay for, but my current service with RingPlus has been great.
