i use a set of sennheiser cans and then a webcam for my mic. drives my friends insane since the webcam mic picks up ambient noise. i love to turn the mic on when i go and take a piss the most.

if you don't mind 2 cables I'd say go with samson sr850 or superlux of the same type and a neewer Mic. Both fantastic.
