yup, dual core vs quad, but still this op is a decent deal for an i7.. if it serves your purpose. I'm guessing you may see a 5 - 6% boost of i7 6200u vs i5 6200u dual core and single core apps

Yes, U processors tend to have a lower TDP and tend to be dual core. For daily use, even core i3 U processors are fine. i5'-Us and i7-U's are just fine for most uses, even for some moderate gaming...
