Sonicare is well known for planned obsolescence, crapping out about 18 months after first use. I'm on my 4th in 5 years. Anyone know of another ultrasonic-type toothbrush?

How is this model compared to Oral B? I currently have the Oral B Professional Care 8850 model and the battery is worsening over the years.

Yep, this one rattles like a tin can and feels very weak. If you are coming from a different sonicare model, don't do it! If you are new to sonicare, ignorance is bliss, just know this one is...

No, these do not get moldy. You do not need to do anything but rinse them off when done. I have had one like this for 3 years and have never had one single issue with mold. Just rinse well.
