Why would anyone do this? Just buy from a store that will refund REAL MONEY back if the price changes.

I think you misunderstood my post. I was implying that this likely wouldn't work out by pointing out how unlikely for Sears to still be in business next year. The keyword is, "could" instead of "can"...

Nah, they'll randomly shut down a bunch of accounts on Jan 15, accounts that just happen to be owed points, to avoid paying out. :rolleye2: Not to mention you'll be well outside their 30 day...
