This is a really good card. Paid 240 after tax on jet.com a month or so ago. It's a very good card, very quiet and runs cool.

Don't chance it. The last few years I waited for BF deal and passed up other good deals. The deals never turned up on BF.

Considering how crappy the deals have been the last few years I wouldn't even count on it being this low again on BF.

kind of doubt it based on the last generation highest prices at launch, then they settle in the groove, stay there a year and have minor adjustment down until the next generation. the 970gtx...

should I hop on any of these or wait for Black Friday? Thinking about an i5-6600K, Z97 mobo, RAM, PSU, GTX 1060 6GB.

I don't think 8GB is necessary. 4GB seems to be plenty for 1080p and even 1440p atm, so I think it should suffice for years to come at 1080p. The only thing you miss out on is ultra high res textures...

Do you think a RX 480 8GB would be of use to me down the road? I don't really see myself gaming higher than 1080p unless the price of monitors or VR come way down. Plus this past year I bought a...

If you're playing at 1080p, either card should be good for the next three years. If you can find the MSI RX 480 4GB for $180, that's the best value. All the other RX 480 cards are rather loud. ...
