I just signed up for xfinity gigabit for $79.99 a month with 2 “courtesy” months of no data limit by calling in to cancel. Just tested my speed and was 940 down, and 49 up. Not too bad.

Speed is nothing without data. Most people just waste heir money for useless higher speed plans. If you can’t blow through 1TB every month then ~30-50mbps plan should be more then enough.

Would you care to explain viable options. I don't see anyone else trying to build high-speed internet infrastructure. Lower prices are at least a little lube for when we are getting pounded.
