Coke must have listened to my emails that I sent and they credited me with 4 pours that didn't get credit for initially. That was nice of them as I was able to get my other $5 GC.

Went to my local supermarket today that has this and you didn't need to pour the drink to get credit. Walked up to the machine, scanned the code, got credit within 1 minute. No pour necessary.

Has anybody had success just scanning the code WITHOUT actually pouring a drink? I've tried twice to do that and it didn't work yet the 5x I did pour a drink I got credit for the pour.

Small or Medium Sweet Tea is only 99c and they give you the cup to fill yourself so you can choose what you wish, or just scan the QR code while you are getting a tea. YMMV

No, that will not work. Your phone has to be synced with the Freestyle machine. So the QR code alone doesn't work.
