I used a chinese tour company out of los angeles. They were chinese speaking tour guides. I didnt pay much attention to them, just did my own thing. I woould suggest to find an english speaking tour....

Thanks for the additional info. So it looks like most activities with fees cost additional. The tour cost basically covers transportation (air and bus), hotel, breakfasts and lunches.
