Actually, between 15.6" and 17.3" laptops, I've usually seen the 15.6" laptops cheaper than the 17.3". Beyond this size, what you say may hold true (like when getting into the really small/thin...

I picked up the Asus with Gsync, SSD/mechanical, and the 6GB version of the 1060 for only about $100 more. Also the speakers get really bad reviews.

I'm so close, it's the build quality that is stopping me. One review says the touchpad is very bad and it gets extremely hot I'm wondering if this is an older model or what. Hopefully an Msi expert...

Wow, the price dropped $50 between the time I posted and you did. You make a solid point, the extra 3gb of vram and an M.2 SSD for just 50 dollars more.... can't beat that, I went ahead and got it :D

I was looking at this also and it's actually only 50 dollars more. Only thing really holding me back from getting it is the tactile mouse buttons I'm guessing it may have some lower build quality...

How is Amazon/Newegg with laptop issues after 30 days? I don't normally buy extended warranties but I feel like for a laptop Best Buy can deal with it on the spot? Or is that not true?

Oh I didn't read closely enough, but the Kaby Lake didn't change anything. No native HDMI 2.0/HDCP2.2 support from the processor, Intel has always been behind on these things  You would still...
