If you have a microcenter by you, they have the Gen 2 refurbs for $99 a piece. I grabbed 2 myself.

I finally got mine yesterday as well, glad to hear it's simple. Nest is a lot smaller than my old Honeywell stat! I'm prepping the wall with the old stat off and going to paint. It'll look lovely....

Got mine 2 days ago and just got it installed. Setup is quite straight forward. You can view the video before starting, then everything from then on is reading the installation guide.
