Its less than a desktop 950 or 750ti. Considering the price, for the same or a little more you can get a better gpu with a 1080 screen. For a few hundred more you can get a better gpu and 4k...

horrendous scaling? yeah no, playing games in 1080p on a 4k monitor os perfectly fine, especially on a 15.6 inch display. it helps that the 3840 by 2160 is exactly 4 times 1080p so scaling issues are...

A 960m isn't going to do much for you for 1080p gaming either. Its a silly system. Overkill in every way except the gpu and then make that even sillier by mating it with a 4k panel.

You aren't the first person to point that out. Again, the 4K screen doesn't have to be for gaming. Use the 4K for streaming and desktop work, use the 1080p for gaming.
