These flat panel work best on uhf (ch 14 and above) Are,fair on high Vhf. (ch 7-13) And not so good for low vhf (ch 2-6) unless signal is close.

I've tried 4-5 of the 'flat' antenna types. With and without amplifiers. I live 18-22 miles from most towers. Antennaweb says I should get 53. The best I've ever gotten with something like this...

In my experience, 25 mile range is actually more like 12-15 reliably. If you live in a populated area close to a large city, this will be fine. If not, buyer beware.
