You have to start using the FreedomPop dialer once and awhile. According to prepaid phone news dot com they're starting to deactivate account which don't use their talk minutes.

PM the FreedomPop employee with the ICCID of the SIM card and explain you want to deactivate the SIM. You then have the option to reactivate it on a new email address for 1-cent if you want.
