Using a CVS coupon is pretty straightforward, be it online or in-store. For online orders, just choose a code from the list above, copy it, then go to cvs.com and add what you need to your cart. After Black Friday wraps up, CVS keeps the momentum going with Cyber Monday and the whole week following it. In the past, they've done daily flash sales that change every 24 hours from midnight to 11:59 PM. These online-only deals have included up to 66% off select stuff, with some items even free when you hit a minimum purchase. Photo products usually see big discounts too during Cyber Monday week—think 40% off photo cards, 30% off photo books, that kind of thing.

Join CVS ExtraCare

The free ExtraCare program is basically essential if you shop at CVS regularly. ExtraCare members get 2% back on most purchases in the form of ExtraBucks, as well as personalized deals and exclusive sale prices (look out for yellow tags in-store). If you’re a member, you can also earn up to $50 a year for filling prescriptions and getting vaccinated, plus $3 in ExtraBucks as a reward on your birthday. You get a $10 monthly bonus reward that covers the membership cost, so it's basically free money if you shop there anyway. Other perks include free same-day delivery on orders over $10, free shipping on everything online, 20% off CVS Health brand stuff, free prescription delivery, and 24/7 access to a pharmacist helpline. Really valuable if you fill multiple prescriptions or visit CVS monthly.

Stack Your savings

CVS lets you stack coupons, so you can use multiple discounts on one purchase. In other words, you can use a manufacturer's coupon with a CVS store coupon on the same item, and apply ExtraBucks Rewards, and still earn ExtraBucks if the purchase qualifies. Done right, this can lead to serious savings, even free products. Check the terms on each coupon to make sure they're stackable and look out for weekly deals that offer savings and ExtraBucks.

CVS gives you 60 days to return most items bought in-store or online, but on most items you need to return them unopened in original condition with a receipt for a full refund. CVS Brand products, however, have a 100% satisfaction guarantee – this means you can return them opened or unopened anytime with a receipt. Beauty products are also covered by the satisfaction guarantee, so you can return cosmetics and skincare even after you’ve used them.

No receipt? CVS might still take returns for exchange or store credit up to $25 with a valid photo ID. Can't return: prescription meds, gift cards, prepaid cards, certain healthcare items, special orders, and clearance stuff unless it's defective. Online purchases can be returned by mail (call customer service first) or brought to any CVS with your packing slip.
