Ports
On the back of the XPS One, there is a plethora of ports to provide ample connectivity. It has Firewire (1394a), S/P DIF, 4 USB Ports, Audio In, a 10 pin TV Input Device, TV-in, Gigabit Ethernet, Power Adapter Plug, and a security (Kensington lock) cable slot. The ports are spaced far enough apart that there should not be any problems with plugs interfering with each other and making them unusable.
On the left side of the XPS One there is a power button, drive activity light, headphone and microphone jack, 2 USB Ports, mini Firewire (1394b), and a media card reader that reads SD, SDIO, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, XD, Hi Speed-SD, and Hi Density-SD. The ports are spaced out even farther apart than they are in the rear, so bulky devices should not hinder the use of the other ports.
Dell has also included a TV Input device that can be used to connect your cable TV set top box. It has a S-Video port and also the standard composite video (yellow) and audio (white and red) connectors. The IR blaster port gives you the ability to control your set top cable tuner box from your PC.
