PR/Social Media Manager

You will be managing all aspects and components of PR and Social Media as well as evolving our brand and communications.  By joining forces with our existing creative team, you will be responsible for finding and executing creative and unique marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Marketing and Public Relations:

    • Work with our creative team to create a branding message that’s reflected across marketing materials, social media content and shared by employees.

    • Manage all PR and communications materials; maintain consistency and accuracy through all communications platforms, messaging strategy, pricing strategy, and campaign strategy.

    • Create and manage PR campaigns and associated projects (goals, delivery, and performance tracking)

    • Direct activities of external agencies and other resources that develop and implement materials and programs

    • Consistently identify and develop innovative opportunities and connections for print, online, TV, radio as well as speaking opportunities.

    • Drive and manage media contacts, interviews, and speaking opportunities

    • Create and deliver press releases

    • Manage special events such as sponsorships, parties introducing new products, or other activities in order to gain public attention through the media without direct advertising.

    • Draft presentations, bios, and speeches for company executives

    • Maintain company promotional material archives.

    • Become the primary point of contact and representative for all public relations and official communications.
  • Social Media:

    • Oversee Social Media campaigns, contests, promotions, and daily activities including but not limited to: strategy, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.

    • Create and launch social media campaigns that integrate and support marketing and product strategies

    • Identify, research, and communicate/converse with top brand influencers.

    • Create timely and engaging content optimized for social media platforms and intended audiences

    • Monitor sites for customer engagement, reputation enhancement, and service opportunities

    • Analyze and create recommendations for social media opportunities

    • Create engaging and professional visuals for our brand (Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc)

    • Manage both internal and external social media resources

    • Continue to refine and define our social marketing process


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required

  • 2+ years developing brands via PR, social, and marketing

  • Demonstrated experience creating innovative social media and PR campaigns

  • Experience developing world class communications strategies and materials

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience required.

  • Client-facing; professional presence, excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Positive attitude and sense of humor

  • Strong organizational skills; cool under pressure

  • Strong multitasking, follow-through, and follow up skills.

  • Goal oriented team player; willing to put in overtime when necessary to accomplish tasks

This position is available for full-time employment, but we are also considering internship opportunities. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and will be expected to relocate to the Los Angeles, CA or Las Vegas, NV area.
