This is a great deal if you only want Talos Principle VR - but I'd probably just recommend spending the extra $9 for the CROTEAM VR Bundle which also includes this game + 4 other Serious Sam VR games.

This gives me a lot of Portal vibes, even though it's very different..

$6 in VR @ Steam = store.steampowered.com/app/5524... [steampowered.com]
$0 in 2D @ Epic = epicgames.com/store/en... [epicgames.com]
Steam 2D page = store.steampowered.com/app/257... [steampowered.com]

One of those games you can take your time in, be challenged by, and even just enjoy exploring the amazing visual world.

Is there a list of the games they've had during this twelve days promotion?

Here it the list of the 12 days of free games they have given out so far:
  • Into the Breach
  • Towerfall Ascension
  • Superhot
  • Little Inferno
  • Ape Out
  • Celeste
  • Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
  • FTL: Faster Than Light
  • Hyper Light Drifter
  • Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
  • The Talos Principle

I think tomorrow's will be Hello Neighbor but that is just a guess from the lock symbol on their site. Also, on the Epic Games site it says "Epic will be offering a new free game available each week throughout 2019. When you claim a free game, it's yours to keep - even after the game is no longer available to new customers for free." I take this to mean that they are not going to keep giving out free games each week after the end of this year. Bummer. They have given out a lot of great games for free this past year.

Amazing list of games given out so far and this game in particular is one of my absolute favorites both in and out of VR. If you at all enjoyed the Portal games or The Witness I highly recommend you give this a shot.

Tomorrow's game is indeed more than likely going to be Hello Neighbor and there's a lot of buzz that the final game is going to be the latest Yooka Laylee 2D platformer that has reviewed VERY well so we shall see

You mean quest link? You can't sideload this to the headset. I bet it works great for link.

Ugh I feel you. I dropped $2400 on a new cpu and headset and I'm limited to like an hour or two a week, doesn't seem to be getting any better either :/ just means I have to pick my playtime carefully and this game looks right up my alley!

The type of locomotion seems to be the key for me. Anything with smooth locomotion (e.g. defector, boneworks, etc.) where you move your POV using a thumbstick ends up being a motion-sickness simulator after only a few minutes. Anything with teleport locomotion (e.g. robo recall, arizona sunshine, etc.) or where you perhaps teleport + operate in a room-scale environment (e.g. superhot) is perfectly fine for hours on end.
