I'm going to be that guy (x2) -- anyone know if the ram is upgradable? I know it has a dedicated charge port, but can it also charge via usb-c?

RAM not upgradable, can charge over USB c. Display is not great, resolution is okay but very washed out for the colors.

I wish they would've done a 3:2 display... that one still has the intel processor but is out of stock.

It can be charged thru usb-c but you need a better charging outlet, i heard the ram wasnt upgradble tho

Ordered mine last night its a decent machine for gaming and fast for everyday use, i need this for school and some "gaming" cheap enough for college kids that needed a machine. The only downside i heard is the screen doesnt have a good color accuracy and wasnt bright enough to use outdoors but other than that the specs are good for the price

yes , soldered is fine if they have at least 16 GB on it, that will future proof it for at 3-4 years.

8GB to run Windows 10 with some memory hungry applications is a challenge.
