Since they say these are just straight up customer returns with no refurbishment, you're most likely getting panels with backlight bleed and/or dead pixels. You get what you pay for, good deal if you dont mind those defects.

Oof, open boxes usually carry same warranty at new. The fact that they are limiting to 30 days is a warning

Since they say these are just straight up customer returns with no refurbishment, you're most likely getting panels with backlight bleed and/or dead pixels. You get what you pay for, good deal if you dont mind those defects.

They do have a 30 day warranty if you do get a defect you can't live with.

I bought the Dark Matter 34" UWQHD VA monitor through target a month or two back. I don't see that one in this list but I can give my impression of that model. Color was bad out of the box. Looks decent once you get it calibrated. On-screen menu was very cumbersome and not really worth the hassle for me. I would imagine the menu is going to be pretty standard for most of these. Otherwise, they offer a good value for the price.

I ended up going with another monitor and returned the Monoprice one.
