Call me old but I miss the days when you could buy 4 of these for $1 on sale.
It's a candy bar.

The old Nestle candy bars have become so bad since they sold off their US chocolate business.
These used to be so good, now they are really waxy. Yuck!

Are these the full size bars like in checkout lines?

Are people still eating chocolate bars as adults ? I'm not a big chocolate craving person unless it's with pastries or ice cream .

I remember those days of 4 for $1 full size candy bars on sale at places like Cheap John's and they were bigger then too (2.0 oz instead of the 1.55 oz of today).

Two things:

1)
I've noticed recently that smaller size or fun size candy seem of lower quality.

In the case of CRUNCH smaller crisps which sometimes feel like uncooked rice bits and are very unpleasant to eat. Whereas the larger ones are actually crispy. Also the proportion of chocolate to crisp makes it not so yummy.

In the case of KitKat, there is way more chocolate to a 4-bar than the packs they sell which have 2-bars. Also the size of the bar itself is larger in the 4-bar vs the 2-bar pack. Also if you happen to get both at the same time, bite and compare the wafers inside. You'll be surprised at how different they look!

And 2)
Try nestle from overseas, the chocolate is way more milky and creamy, and on the note of KitKat, it's made by nestle (not Hershey's) but only outside of the US. You can pick this up at world food stores or sometimes pay more but grab them in those Japanese candy mall stores. Kinda pricey but worth it once in a while imo to remember what chocolate is supposed to taste like.
