If I had it to do over all over again, I'd buy from someone like B&H before going directly to DJI (if I bought at all - which is unlikely going forward)... Going through B&H or another authorized seller, you will have more recourse if something does immediately go wrong (like working out a return/exchange/refund through B&H). DJI, once they have your money, are not fun - this isn't my opinion, nor is it just a small percentage of customers - read around and you will find that even people who love DJI products generally hate DJI customer service once they have to deal with them because they sucks so bad on the customer service front (and they don't care, though they will let you know this reality in a super friendly way)...
As for mine, it was defective out of the box - first flight I had gimbal/camera freakout, then disconnects midflight during multiple subsequent flights. After DJI had me troubleshoot it for them, they requested that I send it in for repair. I requested to return for an exchange for a new working model (since I paid for new and not a refurb), but they were having none of that - "repair or nothing" was essentially what DJI gave me as options... After sending in for repair, I was jerked around for more than a month while they held onto my Mavic for repairs (and my $$$$) . Now that I finally have it back, there are new issues - not to mention my original box was damaged while in their possession and the Mavic and its controller were sent back filthy.. Just bad service...
Now I am working with my CC company to see what we can do about doing a charge back against the DJI purchase since DJI seems to be adopting the "you're at our mercy and will take what we give you" stance with me - which really, really sucks... What additionally sucks is that this is my 3rd DJI product, I never had any issues out of my Parrot or P3P, and I was a loyal DJI evangelist before my Mavic experiences - now they likely won't get another dime of mine because of their terrible customer service and their unwillingness to do what's ultimately fair/right. (I mean, seriously...you order a shirt from Macy's and show up to find it has a hole in it - are they going to force you to wait while they sew a repair? Hell no - they are going to give you a mint shape one because that's what you paid for... DJI plays stupid on this - as if they don't understand the concept of giving a customer a new working unit when the customer paid for a new working unit).
Just my 2 cents - take it for what it's worth. Read the DJI Mavic forum for owner experiences for yourself - bare minimum before buying.

Any idea when this coupon expires? DJI is supposed to be having an event tomorrow and announcing a new drone.
Depending on the expiration I will probably hold off until I see their new model(s)
